Returns and Warranty

Thank you for purchasing a TrailPeak product.

Due to International Trade Agreements, TrailPeak is NOT able to assist customers outside of North America with warranty requests. If you are an international customer, please take the product back to the original place of purchase. For all other international inquiries, please visit www.trail-peak.com for more information.

RETURN POLICY

Note: Applies ONLY to products purchased directly from TrailPeak.

If you have purchased a product directly from TrailPeak, you may return it to us for a complete refund of the purchase price (not including shipping fees) as long as the product is in factory fresh condition and returned within 30 days of purchase. Sorry, we do NOT take back worn or used products.

All orders have a 30 Day return policy. As such, online orders processed as a Retail/Counter Pick Up and left after 30 days will be sent back to Customer Service to be processed as a refund. Our Retail team will make every effort to provide reminders to customers on the status of their order(s).

In order to issue a refund, the item(s) must be in factory fresh condition* (not worn or used) and returned in the original product packaging. If the product is not returned in factory fresh condition, no refund will be given and the product will be returned.

*Factory Fresh – For an item to be considered factory fresh, it must never have been worn or used in a way that would contaminate it with chalk/dirt/etc. The item must show absolutely zero signs of wear and tear. The item must be returned in the same condition received by TrailPeak, including the original product packaging.

EXCHANGE REQUEST

Our exchange process involves two separate transactions. You will need to return the item(s) you want to exchange, and place a new order for the replacement item(s).

RETURN REQUEST

FOR TRAILPEAK GIFT CERTIFICATE/DISCOUNT CODE RETURNS: Please use the link above to submit a return; once your return is received by TrailPeak, our Customer Service Team will provide you with a new code via email.

For returns from Outdoor Prolink, please go to our Contact Us page, select “Outdoor Prolink Return Request” from the Topic drop-down, fill out the required information, and click on the Submit button.

WARRANTY REQUEST

Before submitting a warranty request, please read our warranty policies below for each of our product categories. If you need to submit a warranty request, please use our Contact Us Form and select “Warranty Request” as the topic. NO PHONE CALLS, PLEASE.

To return a product for warranty evaluation, we will need the following information to issue a Return Authorization number (RA#):

  • Name
  • Shipping Address
  • Product Name/Description
  • Size and Color
  • Original Place of Purchase
  • Original Date of Purchase
  • Order # (If purchased from TrailPeak)
  • Brief explanation of warranty concern
  • Pictures of your TrailPeak product that clearly show the area of concern

Footwear/Ski Boots:

  • Bottom of both soles
  • Upper of both shoes/boots
  • Close-up of the area of concern

Apparel:

  • Entire item
  • Close-up of the area of concern

Ski Products:

  • Top and bottom of skis
  • Close-up of the area of concern

Please contact us with the above information for a Return Authorization Number (RA#) then ship the product back to us for a warranty evaluation.

Please note: All Products returned for warranty evaluation must be clean and dry.

Once the above information has been submitted to TrailPeak, you will be assigned a return authorization number (RA#). Note: Receiving an RA# does not guarantee that the product is covered under warranty.

Please ship your package via UPS, certified mail, FedEx or any traceable shipping method. We recommend that you insure your package against loss en-route to TrailPeak. TrailPeak is not responsible for packages until they arrive at our offices. TrailPeak does not reimburse for shipping costs, and we do not issue call tags.

All warranties and returns are typically processed within 2-3 weeks of receipt of product. You will be contacted if something delays this process, such as a repair or a backordered product.

WARRANTY POLICY

All warranty items are required to be evaluated at TrailPeak. Decisions will be made at the sole discretion of the TrailPeak Warranty Department. If an item is covered under our warranty policy (see below), upon warranty inspection, TrailPeak will first seek to repair your TrailPeak product. If repair is not feasible or reliable then TrailPeak will seek to replace the product with the same or like product given availability.

FOOTWEAR (NON-SKI) WARRANTY POLICY

Thank you for purchasing a TrailPeak footwear product. All the products we manufacture are covered under a Warranty. Only original TrailPeak materials and workmanship are covered under Warranty. This warranty does not cover wear and tear, improper fit, improper use, or improper care. There is no implied life span of a shoe, due to the variables that can affect footwear.

TrailPeak’s Footwear Warranty does not extend to any TrailPeak product that has been resoled, repaired or otherwise modified. Any TrailPeak products to be considered for warranty must be returned to TrailPeak for evaluation. Upon inspection, TrailPeak will either repair the product or replace if product is unrepairable.

Not covered under warranty:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper use
  • Improper fit
  • Improper care and poor maintenance
  • Modification or alterations of the product
  • Damages due to storage or transportation
  • Broken or damaged boot/shoe laces

As much as you love your TrailPeak product, please understand that no matter how well you care for your TrailPeak product, materials will begin to experience natural break down and will start to show wear.

APPAREL WARRANTY POLICY

Thank you for purchasing a TrailPeak apparel product. All the apparel we manufacture is covered under a 1 year Warranty, from date of purchase, against manufacture defects in materials and craftsmanship. Only original TrailPeak materials and workmanship are covered under Warranty for the original owner.

TrailPeak’s Apparel Warranty does not extend to TrailPeak apparel product that has been repaired or otherwise modified. Any TrailPeak product to be considered for warranty must be returned to TrailPeak for evaluation. Upon inspection, TrailPeak will either repair the product or replace if product is unrepairable.

Not covered under warranty:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper use
  • Improper fit
  • Improper care and poor maintenance
  • Modification or alterations of the product
  • Damages due to storage or transportation
  • Loss of DWR (Durable Water Resistance)
  • Abrasions and rips/tears of material
  • Fabric wearing thin
  • Stains on material

Some common manufacture defects are:

  • Broken/sticky zippers
  • Hook and loop closure system issues
  • Elastic hem/hood cord issues/broken toggles

As much as you love your TrailPeak product, please understand that no matter how well you care for your TrailPeak product, materials will begin to experience natural break down and will start to show wear.

SKI PRODUCTS (HARDGOODS) WARRANTY POLICY

Thank you for purchasing a TrailPeak ski product. All ski products that are purchased “new” are covered under a 1 year Warranty, from date of purchase, against manufacture defects in materials and workmanship. Only original TrailPeak materials and workmanship are covered under Warranty for the original owner. Any TrailPeak product to be considered for warranty must be returned to TrailPeak for evaluation. Upon inspection, TrailPeak will either repair the product or replace if product is unrepairable.

Not covered under warranty:

  • Abnormal rock or rail-induced damage (for example, impact of anything other than snow)
  • Scratches, chips, cosmetic blemishes or indentations on top sheet, sidewalls, edges or bases and damages to the ski caused by binding mounting, adjustments or use
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper use
  • Improper fit
  • Improper binding mounting
  • Improper care and poor maintenance
  • Damages due to storage or transportation
